A French fire-fighter has died of wounds sustained during an explosion at a fire in a poultry farm, reports the French fire brigade. The fire occurred on 25th March at Saint-Michel-de-Chavaignes, near Rennes. Two other fire-fighters are still in hospital. There was no record of the presence of sprinklers.
