Fire has destroyed a 4,000m2 warehouse in Puy en Velay, near Lyon in France. The fire was reported at 21:15 on 13th June and threatened to spread to the neighbouring train station. The warehouse was used by Calberson, a logistics company, and as storage for materials for the festival of the king of the birds.

There were no sprinklers installed. In France since 2005 new warehouses larger than 3,000m2 have to be sprinklered.
