The Fürstenwalde Fire Brigade reports that a sprinkler system has saved a shop store. The fire was reported at 09:04 on 13th June in the store for a sales outlet in the south of Fürstenwalde, a town 55km east of Berlin. On arrival crews found that the sprinkler system had operated and controlled the fire. The fire brigade completed extinguishment and ventilated the shop. The fire is thought to have been started deliberately.
